Update: MarketCrest will once again serve as an event sponsor for the Changemakers Luncheon (now renamed to the Leadership Luncheon). This marks two consecutive years that MarketCrest has proudly sponsored the event!
This year’s Leadership Luncheon will take place October 9th, 2025, 11:30am at Arlington Hall.
This year’s luncheon will directly fuel three critical initiatives:
- Scholarships for North Texas students pursuing higher education;
- Civic education programs that foster an informed and connected public;
- The Leadership Academy, which equips rising professionals and civic leaders to engage in public policy and public service.

On September 20, 2024, the Callejo-Botello Foundation proudly hosted its inaugural Changemakers Luncheon, bringing together community leaders, advocates, and supporters.
MarketCrest was excited to partner with LT Global and many others as event sponsors, with Scott Berry, Kleine Powell, and Isabel Maya representing us.
Local immigration attorneys and Foundation board members Monica Lira Bravo and Laura Baez Torres organized a fantastic event and were instrumental to its success!
The funds raised will fuel several important initiatives, including:

- Scholarship Programs: Supporting Latino students on their path to higher education by providing financial aid and mentorship.
- Civic Engagement: Promoting voter registration and active participation in the community.
- Leadership Development: Empowering the next generation of Latino leaders across various fields locally.

The program featured an insightful panel discussion moderated by Rebecca Acuña from AT&T, with remarks from distinguished public officials, leaving attendees inspired and ready to make a difference.
This special luncheon also celebrated the lasting legacy of Adelfa Callejo and the transformative work of the Callejo-Botello Foundation, including their exciting new leadership program.
Founded in 1979, the Callejo-Botello Foundation honors the trailblazing work of Adelfa Callejo, the first Latina attorney in Dallas, whose passion for justice and education continues to inspire. Today, the Foundation’s board of passionate leaders is carrying her mission forward by championing educational opportunities, legal representation, and civic engagement for the Latino community.
